Please do not provide any inappropriate comment or advice or who does what and who did what. Please provide an honest and genuine opinion that - what Indian Hindu community of Bloomington-Normal thinking? You do not need to provide your true identity. The whole idea is about to make everyone of Bloomington-Normal Indian Hindu community as a part of decision-making process and not only the fund raising process. I think all devotees of HTBN /SAIBABA /ISKON etc should get together and plan for one temple.

We are wasting time by putting a very BIG goal to build a big temple. If you look the project, it will take another 5 to 10 years to complete the construction because of various reasons like funds (main reason) and participation. That’s why lack of enthusiasm from other people. So my advice would be, we should find a decent building (fairly old) and convert it into a temple. That would be fast and will stir enthusiasm in community. By God’s grace once it will start flourishing, we can still build a nice temple. But let’s start with something instead of going for a big project which will take a big time.
