Tabla - Bharat Kamat

Learnt to play tabla at the tender age of five from his father Shri Chandrakant Kamat. Later he was under the tutelage of the well-known tabla maestro Late Pt Samta Prasad. Bharat Kamat won the Akashvani Music Competition award for 1991. He has accompanied several eminent artists including Pt. Bhimsen Joshi, Ustad Rashid Khan and Pt Jitendra Abhisheki.
